Hi, I’m Laura Denver and I’m a professional educator with 3 decades of educational services experience. I give my students the confidence they need to succeed in school and in life. I believe every child can learn and it’s my job to help them figure out how they learn. I work with students of all abilities. I take great pride in helping students become better learners.

The Right Teaching Method for Each Student
I’m a lifelong learner and problem solver. My career as a Software Quality Engineer taught me to evaluate myself and processes to see how I can make improvements. I’ve used these skills to evaluate my own personal delivery of knowledge to my students. If a student is not responding to one method of instruction, I will try another.

Creating Connections
I have a natural ability to connect with students. I should—I’ve been doing it a long time. I started in high school by helping my cousins with their math. I enjoyed it then and love helping students today. I get a great sense of satisfaction when I know I’ve made a real difference.

My Happy, Busy Life
When I’m not tutoring, I love reading, crocheting and spending time with my family including my husband, 4 kids, and 3 dogs.
