Ms. Denver and her staff have done an amazing job with my daughter. Her one on one instruction has taught my daughter how she learns and how best to study. My daughter is much more independent and is doing great and loving school now. We miss Ms. Denver and her staff!!

Laura Denver and her team of tutors and peer tutors are great! Laura matches tutors to specific student needs and sends home a written report after each session on what was worked on, how the student did, etc. Also, if you decide to work with a peer tutor, they are most often former students at the local schools so are familiar with the teachers, curriculum, various school technology/portals -- this has been invaluable! Last but not least, Laura is very accommodating and understanding with scheduling as my kids are in multiple after school activities/sports. Rates are very competitive and the recent addition of drop in hours just for a place to study and have tutors on hand if needed, are fantastic. Highly recommend!

Surprise for Mrs. Denver
Laura Denver offers an individual and very effective tutoring service. Her passion for students success is evident. She builds the student’s confidence, challenges them to stretch their skills, and watches them excel as they learn. The students feel valued, motivated, and learn. The environment is supportive and the staff is excellent. My child has taken college-level math including Calculus and the prep works. I recommend Compass Educational Services without reservation.

My daughter started attending sessions several times a week during her 8th grade year, which really helped her finish stronger and be better prepared for high school. Now in high school, she has continued attending to stay on top of study's and to continue to improve skills needed to be a successful student while challenged with dyslexia. Compass has always been flexible with scheduling and has gone above and beyond many times! It has been great and I highly recommend.

Laura Denver is great -- good ties to the community and local schools and a parent who has had her own children attend the local schools in the area. The peer tutors are also great -- all students at the local schools, first hand knowledge with local teachers and curriculum, etc.

Hello Laura, I hope you and your family are healthy and doing well. I have wanted to reach out to you for several months. I would like to let you know that Carlo did very well on his ACT thanks to you! He received a super score of 33 and decided to take the offer from Iowa State Univ. studying engineering. He is there now having a hybrid schedule of on-line and in-person class. Compass has made a huge impact on my son’s academic success. He has been attending Compass for 3 years now.
